Growler Performance Bikes, from Rochester, NY, has graciously donated to WNYMBA a complete build Growler American Stout Fat Bike. This Made-in-America bike is decked out with Sram components, Mulefut 27.5 fat rims, Maxxis tires, and a Manitou fork. We will be selling raffle tickets throughout 2020 at all WNYMBA events and at select retailers. The drawing will be in December, 2020, at Global Fat Bike Day at Loud Performance in Bemus Point, NY.
The proceeds from this raffle will go directly back into WNY trails, with a majority of the proceeds going to the construction of new singletrack and trail maintenance in Chautauqua County. We hope to match the raffle proceeds with a 3% Occupancy Grant from Chautauqua County, and this money will assist us in building new trails in Whalen Memorial State Forest and help us revitalize sections of the Westside Overland Trail (pending County approval). We are excited about this amazing opportunity to expand our shared-use trail network in the region and to invest our resources in a county that has real potential for growth.
