Whalen State Forest Trail Day

Join us for a trail work day at Whalen Memorial State Forest.

This trail work day will focus on two major projects: 1) We will add drainage to the new “Amish Buggy” and “Blue Heron” trails and prep the trails for features to be added later; 2) We will move gravel to the chronic wet spots on 4th loop.

As you know, WNYMBA invested in two new machine-built trails at Whalen Memorial State Forest. We will finally have a blue level trail at one of our regional trail systems, so please come out and help us build some table tops, berms, and kickers on “Blue Heron.”
