DESCRIPTION:Join us for a trail work day at Whalen Memorial State Forest. \nThis trail work day will focus on two major projects: 1) We will add drainage to the new “Amish Buggy” and “Blue Heron” trails and prep the trails for features to be added later; 2) We will move gravel to the chronic wet spots on 4th loop. \nAs you know\, WNYMBA invested in two new machine-built trails at Whalen Memorial State Forest.  We will finally have a blue level trail at one of our regional trail systems\, so please come out and help us build some table tops\, berms\, and kickers on “Blue Heron.”

DESCRIPTION:Join WNYMBA as we make repairs to the trails at Darien Lakes State Park.  Meet at the Rt. 20 trailhead. We will be working on:\n-Beavertown minor repairs\, wood bridges need dirt/rocks fixed\,\nWhaletail needs work(washed out)\, Racking and trimming of\nbranches.\n– Oz minor clearing rakes and branches. Spruce up the berms.\n– Shotgun creek crossing could use some strategic rock placement\nfrom winter wash out.\nBring work gloves. See you there!
