SUMMARY:WNYMBA 2020 Camping Weekend
DESCRIPTION:As a result of COVID\, WNYMBA is going to do something different for this year’s camping weekend. Dee Dippel\, from Loud Performance\, has graciously offered to hold the camping weekend at his shop. As you know\, Loud Performance has fantastic beginner-friendly trails on its property\, and these trails connect to the 7+ miles of beginner/intermediate trails at Long Point State Park.\nOn Saturday\, we will head over to Harris Hill Extension for the grand opening of the trail system. The trails were recently logged\, but Tom Wright and a group of dedicated volunteers has brought them back to life\, even better than before! The trails at Harris Hill are intermediate/advanced.\nOn Sunday\, we will head over to Whalen State Forest to ride WNYMBA’s newest trail system. Roughly 11 miles of new singletrack\, with additional miles if anyone chooses to ride the Overland Trail. These trails are beginner/intermediate.\nYou can swing by for a day or camp for the whole weekend. You have the choice to join us at Harris Hill and Whalen State Forest\, or you can spend your time honing your skills at Loud Performance and Long Point State Park.\nPlease bring a tent (or camper)\, food\, and your own beverages. We will rent port-a-potties\, so please bring $15-$20 for a donation. This event is family-friendly and beginner friendly. We would love to see new faces and new members join us for this annual event. Please thank Dee Dippel for hosting the camping weekend. We hope to see you there!
