SUMMARY:First Day Ride
DESCRIPTION:First Day Bike. What better way to start the new year then on a bike? Next Level Mountain Biking will be leading a ride in the Red House area. Meet at the Administration Building at 11:00 AM on January 1\, 2023.  The pace and the length of the ride will be moderate and be determined by the participants. No one will be left behind. Participants may split into different paced groups\, if necessary. Fat bikes are suggested\, given the range of conditions likely to be present\, however\, use your best judgement for the conditions of the day. SUMMARY:Friday Night Fat Bike ride at Allegany State Park
DESCRIPTION:The Allegany State Park Environmental Education and Recreation Department and the Western New York Mountain Bike Association (WNYMBA) are excited to host another season of Fun Fat Bike Rides starting on Friday January 13\, February 17\, March 17 at 6:30 PM\, with the ride starting at 6:45 PM. Bring warm clothes\, a helmet\, a head light\, and sense of adventure. Check in will be at Camp Allegany. Although pre- registration is not required\, if you are interested in borrowing a bike for the evening\, please call (716) 379-6939\, as bike availability is limited. \nThe 5–8-mile fun ride is for all levels and will last up to 2 hours\, depending on the weather. Riders will wind through the Red House area of the park. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Global Fatbike Day\, Memorial Mary Walker Chili Cook-off\, and January WNYMBA Meeting.  This is one of the most enjoyable days of the year.   \nWe will begin the day with our January WNYMBA meeting\, where we’ll be discussing plans for 2023 and voting on 2023 executive and advisory board members. This is your opportunity to shape the direction of the club in 2023. \nFollowing the meeting\, we’ll have fat bike group rides on the Trails at Loud and at Long Point State Park.  Brewhouse Bikes will be there with their demo fleet of fat bikes!   \nAfter the group rides\, we’ll meet back at Loud Performance for our Mary Walker Chili Cookoff.  Bring your best chili and enter to have your name enshrined on the Mary Walker Chili Cookoff trophy.  \nThis event is always a good time.  See you there!
