It depends on more than just when the last rain storm was. We try to build the trails so that they shed the water, so once they get dry in the spring, they can usually handle a rain event and be ready the next day. Sprague was pretty good Sunday, except for a few seasonal seep areas and a couple of places where there isn't a place to drain to. So it should be good to go for Wednesday's group ride.

What's the general rule for this time of year after some rain? Give it a day or two? Upcoming forecast looks a bit wet (Tuesday, Sunday, Monday).

Sprague is in great shape. Still some wet areas on the west side but they are limited in extent. When you encounter these, remember to ride straight through the wet areas, don't go around them. The great turnout for the work day Sunday also went a long way to improving conditions. Thanks to everyone who came out.

Rode the race loop on Friday. The pines climb on the race loop is pretty soft. There are two or three sections that are very wet. The rest is very rideable, however. The creek was crossable, but I chose not to.

However, with rain in the forecast for most of this upcoming week, it may get worse.

There's part of a tree down across the XC loop, if I recall, it's around the 6 mile marker. It's not on the ground either. You need to dismount and carry the bike over.
