TOPIC: this past weekend riding the race loop at HV

Re: this past weekend riding the race loop at HV 1 year, 1 month ago #41031

My absolute biggest fear on the trail, by far, is getting my eye poked out by a branch.

That's a far more real concern to me than hitting my head on anything.

How does anyone who is athletic enough to ride a mountain bike not know how to roll out of a crash?

Actually you should sue-
1.The bike mfg for making the bike and not telling you that you could fall off.
2.The shop that you bought the bike from
3.The county, state and country that you were riding in for having a trail that you could fall on.
4.Starbucks/Redbull etc for selling you a energy drink/coffee that made you go fast which caused you to fall
5.Your riding partners for making you keep up which caused you to fall
6. WNYMBA, IMBA,NAMBA, SPCA, CIA, KGB, GSA

If you dont win a big lawsuit, then you can sue your lawyer for not trying the case properly!

You might be able to sue yourself for being a dumb ass and not wearing a helmet also- not sure on that one?

Penguin
Mommy- theres a root on the trail! Make it go away! I want my Binkie

That is the most idiotic comment/question I have heard in a long time.

First, GFY.

Second, anyone possessing any athleticism should be able to crash with enough control to protect their head.

Jesus, we're talking about riding a bicycle, not a supercross bike.

Anybody driving in this snow today without a full roll cage and a five point harness is insane.

Snow kills

You're obviously invincible, smarter and athletically far superior to anyone on this forum, makes me wonder why you continue to participate in the annual "helmet debate" and associate yourself with a bunch of uncoordinated losers. It's apparent to me there's nobody on here with the intellectual capacity to fully understand your argument, present company included.
Not very fast but havin' fun!

The backasswards "logic" in this post is surreal.

You can joke around about lawsuits and their validity all you want - but if Spraguebrook, or Eville or anywhere else we ride were to get shut down because of a nuisance lawsuit - you'll all be crying in your overly hopped up beers.

It HAS happened elsewhere.

Define "overly hoppy".

Southern Tier 2XIPA has taken over the top spot as my favorite beer.
