For the 4th year in a row, Rachel and I are putting on the Annual Genesee County Park Fat Bike Ride, with Growler Performance Bikes.

If you've attended previously, then you know the drill. If not, then here's the drill: We play bikes in the snow!!!

Please bring a dish to pass (chili, soup, chips, etc) and BYOB (in cans, please). We will be in Pavilion B. There will be a donations jar to help us offset the cost of the pavilion. Anything above the cost will go towards the Stone Tower singletrack at Allegany State Park. So, please bring some cash and help WNYMBA expand the riding opportunities in WNY!

Once again, Willo Glynn and Growler Performance Bikes will be there to demo their sweet fat bikes. So, if you don't have a fat bike, then no worries! Simply bring boots, a helmet, warm clothes (dress in layers) and warm gloves. Growler will take care of the rest.

GCP is also excellent for snowshoeing and xc skiing, so feel free to bring your winter gear for a day of winter fun! See you there!

This ride is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if the trail conditions are too soft.

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
