Summer Time Trail Work Days

We usually reserve the prime summer months for riding and do the trail work in spring and fall.  However, this has been a very wet year.  We are setting up some sumer work days for both Ellicottville and Sprague Brook.

The Ellicottville days are set.  Mack from Heart Rate Up is leading two trail-work days  to begin stone-placement and well-needed maint. to the Rain Trail, Big Merlin & other sections.  These will be Tuesday July 29th 6pm & Wed. Aug. 13th 6pm. Tools & equipment will be on-site. Meet in first parking area off E.McCarty Hill Rd.We'll be updating with more information on the calendar and the meet up.

We also plan on doing some work at Sprague, probably mid August, but the dates aren't set yet.

Hope to see you out on the trail to help make our trails sustainable even in wet summer like this one!

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
