A Very Special Shout Out - To All Who Helped
Written by The F'n Man
Monday, 19 May 2014 20:50

Just wanted to thank everyone who supported our effort to win funding to build a world class flow trail at Holiday Valley.

We had a terrific voter turnout, and came within 5% of the votes needed to win.

We are hoping to turn this into a win by some other means.

Again, thank all of you for your support.

Today's daily video outtake

Dennis did a great job as our Bell Built video star, and many thanks to Holiday Valley's Ashley for putting it all together.  Bell used it right as we submitted rather than making it from various clips.  But we still provided them with additional clips and stills per their request; they just never were used.  Now, they will see the light of day.

For our first outtake, here is our very own Toddler explaining why you need to vote!

Confirmation E-mail Blues?
Written by Administrator
Wednesday, 14 May 2014 12:47

Have you had trouble getting your confirmation e-mail from Bell for your Bellbuilt vote?

Bell is looking into the problem, but needs to know if this really is a big problem.  if you never got your confirmation e-mail (or your friend or coworker never did), please let us know by e-mailing

This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We need to hear from as many people as possible that never got the confirmation e-mail, so that they can be aware of the size of the problem.  Please let us know what e-mail address you used to vote.

One note: Bell's IT consultant says you should not use IE8 (or older), so you may want to retry with Chrome/Firefox/Safari first if you used IE8 before.

The ANF has the Public Comment open till June 3rd. the following link will get you to the letter that details some of the specifics of the project , the map and a link to email your comment, you can also phone or fax it in..

There is some consideration regarding closing the trail system during the Winter months, many of us want them to be treated just like hiking trails, not closed for hunting or Winter...  but voice your own comments, just be sure to  express your desire to get these trails in,, please......

Our insurance company has "strongly suggested" that we tell you that Mountain Biking can be dangerous. If you're visiting this site it's very likely that you're already aware that if you insist on having a good time by riding your mountain bike, eventually you will almost certainly fall down and collect any number of boo-boos, dings and injuries, serious or otherwise, but we have to tell you anyway.

Mountain Biking is a potentially hazardous activity carrying a significant risk of bodily injury and even death. Mountain biking should only be undertaken if you have a complete awareness of these risks. You can reduce the level of risk by wearing a helmet and by riding within your own skill level.
